Die Beloofde land is a working farm that houses various farm animals and three dams teeming with bass. Visitors have access to excellent hiking trails in and around the farm. There’s never a shortage of nature-filled pastimes. Activities on the farm include:
- Bass fishing (rods available on site)
- Swimming in the dams
- Guided hiking trails
- Bushman cave (rock paintings) trail
- River trail
The area around Die Beloofde Land is also host to several outdoor activities. Activities outside the farm include:
- Mountain biking on Prince Alfred pass (route ends in George)
- Various 4×4 routes
- Art galleries and wine tasting
- Kbuku pub
- Birdwatching
- Unique flora and fauna viewing
- Day trips to George, Knysna or Oudtshoorn (1.5-hour drive from the farm)
- Uniondale restaurants and shops (44km from the farm)
- Small shop for basic supplies (23km from the farm)
